Item Imagery - All items include a scan of that particular item. This is done so that you can be sure that the condition of the item you see online and order will be the condition of the item you receive. Item images are never retouched or altered. They are simply scanned and added to inventory.

Our Inventory - Our inventory is always changing. And, because we present scans of every single item, identical items are inventoried individually. For this reason, quantities of all items will be limited to 1. For example, even though we have (5) 1987 Donruss Greg Maddux cards in inventory, they are all listed individually for imagery and descriptive purposes. Therefore, instead of having the ability to alter quantities at checkout, each item must be added to your cart separately.

Item Condition - The condition of each item will be included in each item's description. The determination of an item's condition is derived primarily from the widely accepted condition guidelines outlined in Beckett Price Guide publications. It is our policy to adhere as closely as possible to these guidelines and if there is ever a question regarding condition we urge you to contact us prior to placing your order. However, if you receive an item that you feel has not been properly classified, you can contact us to request a refund.

Condition Classifications

Book Values - Hometurf utilizes a variety of sources in determining an "approximate" book value for each of our items. We utilize sources such as Beckett, online sales, and historical auction data when arriving at a "book" value approximation. We do not consider our methods to be the "de facto" standard, and provide this information to our visitors to serve only as a reference point while you are browsing our inventory.

Payment - We use Paypal payment services for all of our items. It helps keep the process simple and keeps our costs down. Which, in turn, allows us to keep the cost of our items competitive. Under special circumstances, we will accept money order payments for items over $100.00. Any/all money order payments are always collected and verfied prior to item shipment which may delay your receipt of goods.

Returns - Should you receive an item in which you are not satisfied, simply contact us within 4 days of delivery to request a refund. For more information, please see our guarantee.

Privacy Policy - In no way will any information collected or stored on our customers ever be shared or sold to another organization. Privacy is very important to us, as we assume it is to you. Information is utilized by Home Turf Sportscards for business analytics and/or marketing purposes alone. In other words, we use the information to improve our site and to continue marketing to our customer base.

No User Accounts Required - Many(almost all) sites require customers to establish a user account before they are able to make purchases from the online merchant. WE DO NOT! We have specifically built our store so that shopping and purchasing is as simple and pleasurable as possible. Simply browse our inventory and when you find an item you'd like to purchase, add it to your cart. When you are ready to checkout, you can use your existing Paypal account. Simple huh.

Shipping - All items include FREE SHIPPING via USPS. The price you see is the price you pay. All items are shipped within 2 days of order placement. If you have any special requirements for shipping, please let us know during your checkout process by including a "message" for us.

If possible, please ensure that your Paypal shipping address is "confirmed". This simple process actually provides additional protections for both you, the customer, and Hometurf. Within the Paypal system, a "confirmed" address simply indicates that your billing and shipping addresses are the same. Please note that Hometurf will require a signature for packages on all "non-confirmed" addresses for orders of $50.00 or more.

In the unfortunate event a shipment experiences delayed delivery in excess of 10 days, please notify us. We will do everything necessary to track down your shipment and communicate its status. If tracking indicates that the shipment is still en route, we are required to wait 45 days before issuing a refund for the original purchase.

Insurance - Insurance is included FOR FREE on all orders of $60.00 or more. Those orders will be insured for the amount of the total purchase. If you would like to add insurance to orders totaling less than $60.00, please indicate this during your Paypal checkout. Payment for insurance on these orders can be made post checkout via a second transaction.
